Grendel Troops Ordered to Leave Kamadhatu
Kamadhatu Prime Minister Isha Koppikar has ordered the remaining 10,000 troops from the Indomitable Borderlands of the Grendels to leave her country.
Kamadhatu and the Grendels have been butting heads quite a bit lately, primarily over the matter of the ongoing conflict between the Republic of Nephia and the Moroniac Republic of Nephi.
"The Kamadhati people are very fond of the citizens of the Grendels," noted the prime minister. "Indeed, the Grendels have been good friends to Kamadhatu and we are eager to maintain our close relationship. However, we are very unhappy with decisions made by the government of the Indomitable Borderlands of the Grendels, and feel this is a clear way of expressing our unhappiness."
Earlier tensions arose after the Kamadhati prime minister announced to the leaders of both the Grendels and Iyari that she wanted to renegotiate the presence of each country's troops in Kamadhatu. Both countries, as well as Galicia-Volhynia, stationed troops in Kamadhatu after assisting in the quelling of an insurrection in Kamadhatu two years ago. The troops were stationed there at the invitation of the government of Kamadhatu.
However, the time had come to stop taking from other nations, Koppikar said, and to begin working with them as equals.
Yarooo, the Benevolant Dictator for Life, lashed back but relations quickly quieted down again between the two states. Since then, the Grendels have opened relations with ZaKommia and the Moroniac Republic of Nephi, angering many Wysterian leaders, including Koppikar.
"I'm hopeful relations will return to normal very soon," said Koppikar.
