Varma and Mali on the outs?

PRABHA (WRI) - Rumors of a breakup between Kallywood glamour couple Ram Gopal Varma and Antara Mali appear to be true, according to insiders close to the stars.

"Well, ever since Ram was seen with that hussy Shefali [Yadav] at the Café Metropol, the stories have been flying," said Vipul Kumar. "And are you surprised? Everyone's known about this for months."

Both Varma and Mali insist the rumors are just that: rumors.

"Things couldn't be more fabulous between us," said Mali. "Ram and Sheffi are just friends. They were consulting over their newest film project together."

Yadav confirms Mali's take on the matter.

"Oh, Rammy and I are just - you know - good friends," she said, signing autographs at the recent opening of the action film Aankhen. "Our relationship is, you know, strictly professional."

So says Yadav, but apparently the love scenes they were practicing at the Café Metropol for their new film, Ek Rishtaa, have been cut from the movie.

"They don't play lovers in Ek Rishtaa," said an anonymous source close to the film's production. "In fact, they don't even have any scenes together."
