Public Art Fans Itching to See "Castle of Wool"

ZEROM, Cumorrah (WRI) - Internationally renowned sculptor Abedieziah Molekalotelah, long noted for his groundbreaking "Clowns In Plastique" exhibit in the Wysterian Territories, has unveiled his latest oeuvre, "Castle of Wool."

"I wanted to make a statement about man's need for security - and warmth - even amidst the delusions with which we consistently, um, delude ourselves," said the artist from his studio in this rural Cumorran farming community.

Constructed from more than 14,000 metric tons of 100 percent pure Cummoran wool, the castle features more than 9,000 square meters of floor space, and a hot tub.

The piece was funded by the Cumorran Wool Producers Council.

The sculpture, believed to be the largest castle constructed entirely from wool anywhere in Wysteria, is an elegant structure standing squarely - yet evocatively - among the streams and woods of this bucolic region of Cumorrah. Critics have hailed the piece as Molekalotelah's most important piece yet.

"It's a visually arresting work," said Levitian art critic Paulus de Alemonius du Crovezny von Haaben Haaben auf der Clump. "It truly draws from the inner anxieties of man's constant struggle to find his identity within the swirling insecurities of our cosmic existence with the defined parameters our own presumptions of grandeur and innocence."

"Absolutely," agreed Kamadhati art writer, Ravi Javi. "It's fabulous. Really, just fabulous."

Not everyone has embraced the artist's work, however.

"Burn it," said ZaKommian art critic, No'use Forbyootee.

Molekalotelah's next project is a four-year effort to reproduce the complete works of author Robert Ludlum in pebbles and toilet paper on a beach somewhere in Giant Kitty.
